Last Call for Bookplates

Freakonomics bookplate

I am happy to announce that after some two years of offering free signed bookplates, which turn a plain old copy of Freakonomics into an autographed copy of Freakonomics, we have finally squashed every bug in the system, and we have even caught up with demand. Which means that if you sign up for a bookplate within the next few days, there is a good chance you’ll get it before Christmas. Just follow this link. And no, we don’t sell your address to penny stock salesmen or practitioners of penis enlargement.

Mike Palmer

Well, here it is February already. I ordered mine (and a friend ordered hers) in September:

Still, no bookplate. Sigh. Should we reorder again? Is it still possible to order one?

mike

If only that was true. I have been trying to get one for the past year. You even had a lady from this site contact me several months ago. Still nothing. Maybe it will work this time. Knock on wood.

Bob N.

Got mine last week. Took about a month. Almost threw it away thinking it was junk mail, but Thank God I did not! And it was FREE! Merry Christmas to me!

Adam

Mine took about a month too and my g/f got a kick out of it. I wish I was getting hand addressed junk mail from the U of Chicago.

NMC

Cool. Do I just paste it into my book now, or wait for Freakonomics 2? ... or even the DVD?

Gully Flowers

Great work mate - I got mine all the way 'Down Under' in Sydney Australia!

Cheers

only an economist...

I'm sure this is part of a research you are doing about how many people read a blog and how many make any comments (or something like that). I'm sure you are trying to find out if you can encourage people to contribute to the blog if you give such an incentive as a bookplate. Well the answer is yes. I'm happy to help and I'll be waiting for my bookplate here in Mexico City, but please do not send it through the Mexican postal service.

A nice offer, but unfortunately I read your book in a pdf file that I found after a quick google search.
Just a heads up.
