Arwa Gunja
Arwa Gunja is the Executive Producer of Freakonomics Radio. Over the course of her career, she has covered everything from politics and economics to foreign affairs, sports and culture. She began her career in public radio working as a producer for NPR’s Morning Edition and Tell Me More. Before Freakonomics Radio, Arwa was the Senior Producer of The Takeaway. In spring 2012, Arwa was selected as a fellow with the International Center for Journalists and traveled to France to report a series of stories. She graduated from New York University with a degree in journalism.

Merritt Jacob
A long-time recording studio professional, the joy of creating and manipulating sound has fueled Merritt’s lifelong pursuits of guitar and audio engineering. After earning a BA in Music from the University of Arizona, he further developed high standards of excellence in audio, working at Trout Recording in Brooklyn, before landing jobs in the WNYC news room. There, working on a diverse range of broadcast features, he developed the radio editing, and mixing skills that led him to the Freakonomics Radio team. He is a fan of WNYC Radio, Freakonomics, and all things sound-related.

Greg Rosalsky
Prior to joining Freakonomics Radio, Greg Rosalsky studied economics and public policy at Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School. He loves bad puns, writing, and social science. In a former life, he was a researcher at the White House and involved in politics. Raised in California, he can now be found in Brooklyn grumbling about bad weather and burritos compared to home.

Christopher Werth
Christopher worked from London and across Europe as a freelance reporter for NPR, Marketplace, PRI, Newsweek and the Los Angeles Times, among others, where he primarily covered business, the European debt crisis and terrorism. He was a fellow with the International Reporting Project in India, and he worked in South Africa as a grant recipient from the Center for Investigative Reporting. In 2012, he served as the President of the Association of American Correspondents in London. He began life in public radio as an intern for WNYC’s On The Media. He holds a masters in International Affairs.
