One more thing about the haircut

The guy sitting in the chair next to me was reading a book the whole time he was having his hair cut.

As he left, I managed to catch the title: “Quantum Physics in America.”

Only in Hyde Park.

"Only in Hyde Park.

Or any other area around a university.

At least you got two blog posts for your $117. Maybe now you can write it off?

And in an unrelated story, I made my first trek to the University of Chicago last weekend. It was for a wedding at the Rockefeller Chapel--beautiful campus you've got there.

Robert Schwartz

Quantum?

Taed

What's even more "interesting" is that it's the 10th book in the series...

Quantum Physics in America: The Years Through 1935 (The History of Modern Physics 1800-1950 Vol 10)

Quantam Physics in America? How are the laws of physics different in, say, Mexico? Did NAFTA change this? Is Levitt in favor of free trade in quanta?

Princess Leia

not to try to one up you again on your own blog, but i saw a college classmate, now a famous (infamous?) prof, reading some scholarly articles AT THE MALL. he tried to keep his focus by urging me toward Ann Taylor where his wife was returning something.

...only in Silicon Valley. ;-)

Robert Schwartz

Prof Levitt: The title in the post has a spelling error that you should correct.

Robert Schwartz

Thank You

Andi

As coincidence would have it, I am considering writing a "Hairstyles for Quanzaa Psychics in America" pamphlet.
..... only in my dreams.

Seconding #1 and #6, you would be advised never to say, "only in [favored cosmopolitan locale x]." The only-in construction fights the birthday problem, and loses. It's collisions of things for which you were never looking going in but which you might find worth repeating going out.

You know enough stats to know what that means.

Michael

wcw, speak English please.
