Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but this is pathetic
I think I am the only person in the world who genuinely loves Sky Mall — the catalog you find in the pouch in the seat in front of you when you fly on airplanes. I cannot go through Sky Mall without finding a dozen things I want. I once did an entire season of Christmas shopping from Sky Mall.
Of the various things featured in Sky Mall, the inspirational prints have never been my favorites. But this one achieves a new low:
I wonder where they might have drawn their inspiration for this image?
To fully appreciate what we are dealing with here, though, you have to follow this link to the page where you can buy it. Then study the headline that they are selling the print with. The tagline is “Make it happen — suprise!” Whatever that means. You might think that part of making it happen would be spelling “surprise” correctly.
(Hat tip to Adam Rhuberg for sending this my way.)
