Full Text of the Blagojevich Complaint

You can find the whole document of the complaint against Blagojevich here.

The more interesting stuff comes in the second half of the document. I bet there are a lot of anxious folks out there studying the document to see if they might appear as Contractor A or Consultant 3 or Senate Candidate 5.

Not all of the pseudonyms in the document are equally effective in disguising the identities of the people under discussion. For the sake of the country, I sure hope that the person referred to as the President-elect — I can only guess at his or her true identity — is perfectly clean.

For one, Senate Candidate 5 has been revealed as.... Rep Jesse Jackson Jr! (This is feeling like the end of each Scooby-Doo episode.)

Joe Plumber

Senate Candidate 5 is Jesse Jackson Jr according to JJJ's lawyer.

Highway Contractor 1 appears to be Rick Sniegowski of K-Five Construction (Vice-Chairman, ACPA Board of Directors).

Not sure about anyone else.

Deputy Governor A is former Deputy Governor Bob Greenlee, but that's not to hard to determine as he was the only 1 of the 3 Deputy Governor's to resign.

the Gooch

ROD BLAGOJEVICH stated that he needs to find a way to take the
“financial stress” off of his family and that his wife is as qualified or more qualified than
another specifically named individual to sit on corporate boards

Gee, I wonder who the 'specifically named individual' is that is less qualified than Rod's wife to sit on corporate boards? It wouldn't be someone who was named to 2 corporate boards with pay of over $300,000 shortly after her husband was elected to a legislative position. Connect the dots, folks.

an 8 year old asks you how the government works- do you hand him a copy of the Constitution or this governor's ramblings? (lol)

frankenduf - These crooks put a referendum on the ballot this past November to hold a Constitutional Convention to rewrite Illinois' Constitution. Had it passed, the two documents could have been one in the same.

@ nap70:

Actually, the constitution question must be placed on the ballot every 20 years. This is the year it was due.

An open auction of the seat would be consistent with transparency in government. What's the downside?
