Beyond Belief

I have not seen the film Beyond Belief by Beth Murphy, but I have heard spectacular things about it. The film tells the story of two Sept. 11th widows who are working to help widows in Afghanistan. Here is the trailer.

For those of you in Chicago, the local chapter of the United Nations Development Fund for Women (UNIFEM) is hosting a special screening of the movie, followed by a talk with the director. The event will take place tomorrow night (Wednesday, March 5) at the Sofitel Hotel, located at 20 East Chestnut Street. Tickets are $75. If you would like to attend, you must RSVP to chicago@unifemusa.org ahead of time. You can pay with a check at the door, or online via Paypal. No credit cards, I’m told.
